Collaborate with the leader of procurement and fuel management to achieve reductions in total cost of ownership for fuel while maintaining supply certainty or quality. Strive to deliver year-over-year improvements while maintaining or improving service levels and reliability. Work closely with key stakeholders in the various business lines and corporate functions to develop cost-reduction strategies and implementation plans. Support supplier relationships for operational excellence and security of fuel supply in compliance with quality and safety standards. By leveraging the company's buying power, the Analyst is responsible for establishing contractual relationships with vendors who provide the greatest value to Atlas Air. The Analyst will administer the execution of agreements and the management of Skymetrix data base. Work with the business unit, Supplier Management, and Accounting to ensure that contractual requirements are adhered to by both the vendor and Atlas. RFP, RFQ and RFI process management and evaluation with solution recommendation analysis. Manage all aspects of the SkyMetrix platformDrive annual productivity improvements in the fuel category.Measure and track performance within each spend category and define budgetary impact.Analyze corporate requirements and source cost effective solutions.Monitor strategy implementation and contract compliance.Administer contracts for specific spend categories.Analyze the procurement process to ensure compliance with corporate policy.Resolve issues of non-compliant purchase orders.Produce reports on Vendor Analysis and use information to leverage purchasing power.4-Year Degree - MBA and/or CPM helpfulJDE Experience a plusKnowledge of Skymetrix a plusStrong analytical skills is a must as well as a superior understanding of MS ExcelAirline and fuel experience a plusShould have a minimum of 1-year experience in a Purchasing role or similar environment Skills: Ability to develop high-impact sourcing strategiesSolid analytical skills - able to define and understand the most critical issuesStrong negotiating skills.
