Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, this position focuses on accurately entering invoices, purchase order matching, payment issue resolution and weekly monitoring of open invoice report in accordance with departmental procedures. Must effectively communicate with internal and external parties in a professional and timely manner. Maintains a solid understanding of AmTrust’s mission, vision, and values and upholds the standards of the AmTrust organization.Process requests for information in a timely manner from internal departments and external vendors.Process invoices received from vendors or internal department in accordance with service level standards.Timely resolve of payment issues Match purchase orders to invoice(s).Monitor open invoices on a weekly basis to ensure invoices are coded, approved, and paid on time. Request payments be voided and/or reissued in Oracle as requests arise.Reconcile all vendor statements and spreadsheets received by Accounts Payable.Assist with 1099 processing and/or corrections as needed.Cooperate in department’s work improvement efforts and participate on work related teams.May be required to work overtime as assigned.Keeps current with market trends and demands.Perform other functionally related duties as assigned.Required:2 Years Accounts Payable Experience. Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.Ability to establish positive relationships and work effectively with all departments and affiliates to ensure integration of strategic goals and principles.Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.High attention to detail and organization skills.Preferred:Experience with Oracle Cloud.#LI-NS1#LI-HYBRIDAmTrust Financial Services offers a competitive compensation package and excellent career advancement opportunities.
