As a Field Service Technician I your responsibilities include performing testing, maintenance and repair of low and medium voltage circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, motor control and other electrical apparatus in the shop and in the field.Travel: 30-50% overnight travelPerforming testing on low and medium voltage breakers including Megger, Ductor, Hi-Pot, Hi-Current, and Timing testsCompleting mechanical work and repairs on breakers and switches, including tear down, refurbishment and parts replacementWiring circuit breakersUtilizing and accurately reading test equipmentReading schematics and wiring drawingsTroubleshooting circuit breaker controlsReading and plotting time-current curvesTesting transformers, including Power Factor and TTRAccurately and consistently documenting using Power DBAble to work with electrical tools and socket set1-5 years’ related experience in commercial and industrial maintenanceMinimum 2 years of industrial or commercial power systems testingAbility to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form; deal with problems involving several concrete variables.Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals of plain and solid geometry and trigonometry."¯ Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions of practical situations.Ability to read company manuals and reports, workplace rules and procedures; speak with poise and confidence, using correct English.Perform regular field work both indoors and outdoors Valid Driver’s license and good driving recordEducation:"¯High School Diploma.#LI-BR1 Qualus is a leading pure-play power services firm and innovator at the forefront of the energy transition, with differentiated capabilities across grid modernization, resiliency, security, and sustainability.
