JOB TITLE:DCC ReceptionistLocation:47 S Main St., 44902Pay: $12 / hourPosition type:Part Time | 2:00 - 5:30 PMReports to:DCC DirectorWill train applicant:YesMinimum Education: Highschool DiplomaRole and Responsibilities Responsible for secretarial and receptionist duties as assigned by the Director of Dewald Community CenterAnswer telephone, take messages and schedule appointmentsProcessing of student applicationsRecord and track statistical dataPrepare spreadsheets, charts, and graphsVolunteer scheduling and processing of volunteer applicationsPerform miscellaneous tasks at the request of the Director of DCC and the Commanding OfficersAssist with Learning Zone program activitiesPreferred SkillsFlexibility, friendliness and attention to detail is an absolute necessitExcellent computer skills and proficiency in Excel, Word, and PublisherAbove average English grammar skills in both written and oral communicationOutstanding telephone techniques for communication with business and educational leaders in the community, donors and parentsMust be able to schedule and perform designated responsibilities with minimal supervision on a timely basisWork schedule flexibilityRequired to maintain confidentiality of information gleaned from students, parents, clients and donorsBACKGROUND CHECK IS REQUIRED THROUGH THE BUREAU OF CRIMINAL IDENTIFICATION & INVESTIGATION (BCII)The information in this job description indicates the general nature and level of work performed by an employee in this classification.
