We are seeking a dynamic and team-oriented individual to join our spirited team.As Account Manager, you will manage the overall function of the recruitment and fulfillment process. This includes working with the sales and recruitment teams to determine places to recruit, working with the hiring client to understand needs, and screening potential candidates to effectively identity qualified candidates for referral to employers, resulting in their hire.Workforce1 is a service provided by the NYC Department of Small Business Services that prepares and connects qualified candidates to job opportunities in New York City. We make strong matches for both candidates and employers by using a unique combination of recruitment expertise, industry knowledge, and skill-building workshops to strengthen candidates’ employment prospects. Services are provided to individuals aged 18 and over in all five boroughs of New York City.Successful Elements:Implement recruiting processes and initiativesReceive and review resumes of job applicantsScreen applicants for job openingsAttend job fairs, networking events and information sessions for hiringDevelop contacts at colleges and universitiesCommunicate with team regarding position openingsMake suggestions of improvement to Recruitment and Sales teamsCommunicate with leadership regarding all postings and openingsObtain all resumes and customer information forms for customersBuild and coordinate a pipeline of qualified jobseekers through recruitment events, reengagement of Individual Training Grant customers, Community Based Organization referrals, walk-in traffic and direct advertisingWork with the leadership team to plan, implement and track customized recruitment projects to meet the specific needs of each business clientMaintain a pipeline of candidates per industryInitiate a high level of engagement and reengagement of clients via phone and emailManage onsite and offsite recruitment events on behalf of employersUnderstand, in detail, the needs of business clients regarding their open jobRequired Experience:Proficient in Microsoft computer systems2-3 years of professional experience in recruiting, account management or a related business relationship management capacityExcellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skillsBilingual skills (French) requiredRequired Education:Bachelor’s DegreeBring your expertise to EDSI where you will be able to live our values every day: Show Up, Smile and Support!
