Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Adobe Edge Delivery Services (EDS) Tester with a strong background in test automation to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing EDS components and ensuring their reliability, performance, and functionality across various platforms. The role involves both manual and automated testing, with a focus on creating reusable, scalable test frameworks to support continuous integration and delivery within the EDS environment. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for EDS components, ensuring high coverage and performance.Design and implement test automation frameworks that support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.Collaborate with developers, product managers, and UX/UI teams to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage.Ensure compliance with best practices for testing within the EDS architecture, including ADA and performance standards.Perform regression, functional, and performance testing to ensure the quality of reusable component blocks and custom variations.Identify, document, and track bugs or issues to resolution, working closely with the development team.Assist in creating and maintaining testing documentation, including test plans, scripts, and test data sets.Optimize and scale automation scripts to handle complex component interactions across diverse client environments.Validate cross-platform compatibility, browser responsiveness, and ADA compliance of EDS components.Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.QualificationsMust be able to work EST hoursBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).3+ years experience in manual and automated testing within a web delivery environmentProficiency with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or similar).Strong experience with continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo) and version control systems (e.g., Git).Experience troubleshooting JavaScript, HTML, CSS and utilizing front-end testing tools (e.g., Jest, Mocha).Familiarity with EDS architecture and reusable component-based development.Understanding of ADA compliance standards and best practices for web accessibility testing.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams and effectively document testing outcomes. Preferred QualificationsExperience in testing within a Content Management System (CMS) or Digital Asset Management (DAM) environment.Exposure to Edge Delivery Services (EDS) or similar frameworks for component delivery at scale.Familiarity with cloud-based environments and testing in a microservices architecture.Certification in test automation or relevant technologies is a plus.The US average base salary range for this full-time contract position is $90,000 - $130,000. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations, but they are subject to change based on the following factors: role, experience level, education/certification, job-related skills, and working location.
