As such we are constantly evolving our systems to support this vast network and are looking for a highly skilled & motivated Senior Data Governance Technical Program Manager (TPM) to define and lead cross-organization security initiatives and solve security challenges within APO at scale. This is an exciting and highly visible role - you will directly influence the security postures and data management policies for our APO products and services. You will regularly interact with world-class engineers and senior leadership. If you enjoy enabling others while keeping them safe, discovering and addressing security issues, and running programs to enable data builders and stakeholders alike, this role will provide you with a challenging opportunity. You will lead information security, risk, compliance, technology and business process assessments, collaborate with AWS Security teams, APO business leadership and technical staff, AWS legal, audit and compliance teams identifying security gaps, vulnerabilities, and conducting security reviews across all elements of the AWS Partner Organization. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in information security and exhibit a strong blend of soft skills for effective collaboration with business and engineering stakeholders, along with deep technical expertise to excel in this critical role. 10010 Key job responsibilities Design, lead and enhance data governance program that is part of the overall data security initiative within AWS Partner Organization (APO). Extend and standardize existing data governance processes across APO while continuously assessing and developing mechanisms and security controls required to ensure that our systems, data and solutions meet AWS Security Polices, compliance, legal and regulatory requirements Play an active role in enhancing and improving APO Data Governance Program, contributing into data management strategy, data security polices and standards, and implementation plans Help to define and implement data access policies, security controls, optimize data security related workflows, data access approvals and communication, standardize data definitions, and data classification. Automate processes and lead development efforts that enhance quality of the data security program Design and implementation of preventative and detective controls to ensue least privileged access and need-to-know security principles are strictly being followed and enforced Serve as the primary point of contact for questions and escalations related to the data security program. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $197,800/year in our highest geographic market.
