Description Global Logistics (GL) Biz Ops is seeking a growth-oriented Principal Product Manager to drive strategy and own the Profit and Loss (P&L) for our Retail cross-border transportation business. You will collaborate with Retail, Supply Chain Optimization and Technology (SCOT), and across GL Product, Finance, and Operations to transform Direct Imports (DI) from a sourcing strategy to an end-to-end transportation product. This product aims to reduce Vendors' cost to serve, increase selection for Amazon's customers in emerging markets, and streamline cost structures for Amazon Private Brands and Devices. Key job responsibilities Establish an end-to-end P&L accounting for product cost savings, transportation costs, net gains to supply chain efficiency, and downstream impacts on other Amazon supply chain, AWS, and Advertising offerings. Drive growth strategies by identifying shipper experience opportunities, supporting Retail Vendor Managers in Vendor negotiations to onboard the right products, and influencing SCOT sourcing and buying algorithms to optimize for shipper experience, Vendor cost to serve, and supply chain efficiencies. Engage network planning and operations teams across Amazon to guide strategic supply chain innovations to sustainably support a 5x growth in DI volume over the next 3 years. Build and manage the Retail imports transportation P&Ls into worldwide Amazon stores. Evaluate current levels of profitability across P&Ls and chart a pathway inclusive of product, program, and supply chain initiatives to optimize profitability versus growth. Understand ideal levels of imports and work across partner teams to identify challenges to growth and execute a strategy to overcome hurdles. A day in the life In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the strategic vision and execution of the Retail cross-border transportation business. Your day may involve analyzing P&L data, identifying opportunities for optimization, and developing strategies to improve profitability while fostering growth. You will engage with Retail Vendor Managers, SCOT teams, and supply chain operations to align on initiatives and overcome challenges. Additionally, you will guide supply chain innovations to support the anticipated 5x growth in Direct Imports volume over the next three years. The base pay for this position ranges from $145,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $240,900/year in our highest geographic market.
