SUMMARYTo schedule timely arrangement of customer orders by producing new product or by pulling from stocked product in accord with shipping schedules.The production schedule must be structured in a manner that maximizes production efficiencies with large material runs/minimal downtime for changeovers and still meets customer needs.Reports to Plant ManagerEnsures safety of all employees on shiftSupervises employees, including employee hiring and retention, performance reviews, and disciplineProvides training and cross training for employeesCoordinates maintenance of equipment and PMsRuns schedule per scheduler0027s specificationsEnsures quality of all products produced and performs quality checksEnsures proper scanning by coil persons and truck driversOrientates new employeesInventory ManagementMaintains good housekeeping in areas assignedApproves hours of work and payrollProvides training to shop employeesEnforces all rules and regulations SAFETYWorks safely and follows all safety rules and operational proceduresWears and maintains all required PPEKeeps assigned work area clean at all timesUnderstands all safety devices and their operation.
