Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Paralegal in the education industry, located in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The role involves providing support to attorneys, handling contracts, and working with data collection and Excel work. Responsibilities: Reviewing and assessing risks associated with contracts Finalizing contracts for signatures Supporting the risk office with various projects, primarily related to privacy Handling large amounts of data collection and Excel work, including aggregating totals by entity Conducting research on agreements, including research agreements, non-sponsored research agreements, and student activity agreements Utilizing various software and tools such as Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS), Case Management Software, and CompuLaw Performing billing functions and calendar management Administering claim and communicating effectively Utilizing iManage for effective case management. Requirements Candidate must possess proficiency in Aderant Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat is required Knowledge of the Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) is crucial Familiarity with Case Management Software is necessary Candidate should be skilled in CompuLaw Ability to perform Billing Functions is required Experience in Briefing is necessary Proficiency in Calendar Management is a must Experience in Claim Administration is required Excellent Communication skills are a necessity Proficiency in iManage is required Experience in the Education sector is a must Prior experience in a Paralegal role is necessary Candidate must be legally eligible to work in the specified location without sponsorship.
