Job Description DiCIPHR (Diffusion & Connectomics in Precision Healthcare Research) Lab invites applications for Data Analyst positions. This role focuses on processing, quality control, and statistical analysis of brain MRI data, including structural, functional, and diffusion MRI, as well as clinical and histological data. As a key member of our research team, you will contribute to cutting-edge projects exploring the intricacies of brain function and structure in traumatic brain injury, autism and brain tumors. This is an on-site position, starting immediately. The DiCIPHR Lab (led by Dr. Ragini Verma, is dedicated to patient-oriented neuroimaging research, aiming to advance our understanding of the association of disease related structural and functional connectivity alterations in the brain, and symptoms. Such clinically focused investigations are rooted in advanced mathematical and computational tools for diffusion MRI analysis, as well as multiparametric connectomics. These tools encompass processing pipelines, automated quality control and multi-site harmonization and have enabled investigations in sex differences, brain development, autism, brain tumor, and traumatic brain injury. Investigation of these clinicalquestions have been further facilitated by network neuroscience research in communication schemes, network reorganization strategies, aswell as pre-clinical mechanistic investigations. Key Responsibilities:- Perform data processing and quality control for structural, functional, and diffusion MRI data.- Utilize programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, and R to develop and implement analytical tools and workflows.- Conduct statistical analyses to extract meaningful insights from complex imaging datasets.- Collaborate with team members to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data analyses, and present results to collaborators and atconferences.Position is contingent on grant funding. Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Neuroscience, or related fields and 2-3 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.- Strong background in computer programming, including proficiency in Python, MATLAB, and R.- Familiarity with neuroimaging software and tools such as AFNI, FreeSurfer, FSL, MRtrix3, DIPY, SPM.- Solid understanding of statistical analysis methods and their application to complex datasets.- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
