Job Description Summary: NetSuite Education Services provides comprehensive instructional programs to ensure our customers, partners and employees have the knowledge to achieve the highest level of success. The Education Consultant plays a critical role in achieving this objective. They work collaboratively with customers to help them build product knowledge, increase user adoption and achieve return on investment. They do this by designing and delivering high-quality, process-based tailored training that promotes NetSuite standard processes. This Education Consultant role will focus primarily on customers who are currently implementing NetSuite but may also deliver training to Partners and our existing customers. The Education Consultant works in a high-energy and dynamic environment, delivering training to multiple customers across a variety of industries. This position is responsible for the delivery of instructor-led onsite and virtual end user training. The Education Consultant works in partnership with the implementation team to assess customer training needs, develop custom curriculum and materials (written and eLearning tutorials), and deliver quality training to ensure optimal user adoption. Education Consultants may deliver additional services such as Train-the-Trainer, Pre-UAT Training and Post Go Live Support Training. The ideal candidate possesses a passion for training, has excellent communication skills, can deliver instructor-led onsite and virtual-classroom sessions, can develop learning and reference materials, demonstrates excellent attention to detail, cares deeply about customer satisfaction, exhibits strong project management skills and embraces change. All Education Consultants will learn the fundamentals to work with our customers to train them on our solutions that are specific to multiple industries. Your Responsibilities: As an Education Consultant, you will have the opportunity to make immediate contributions to the organization as you: Advise customers how to fully apply their learning subscription and develop a Learning Action Plan strategy to accommodate all user's training needs with the goal of driving adoption of the customer's configured NetSuite system. Recommend standard methodologies from a user adoption, training, and business management perspective. Deliver customer specific end-user training based on needs and timing of customer which may include user acceptance, go live, post-go live, refresher, or subject matter expert training. Understand and apply adult learning techniques and adjust the training solution according to the specific requirements of the customer. Understand the NetSuite application in all functional areas as they relate to customer end user learning requirements. Apply that knowledge to solve customer business challenges. Take full ownership of multiple concurrent customer training projects. Interact with customer as needed for logistics, knowledge transfers and follow-ups. Partner and collaborate with our internal teams to drive success with customers using a unified approach. Incorporate learning industry standard methodologies and techniques in daily engagements. Deliver engaging interactive webinar sessions or onsite event sessions to highlight value and product features to customers. Grow product knowledge and experience to provide content insights for course development. Participate in the development of new offerings and improvement to processes, providing feedback and suggestions to education program management. Keep up-to-date on current and new product rollouts to ensure functional and technical knowledge, as well as training and presentation skills are continuously upgraded. Incorporate learning industry standard methodologies and techniques in daily engagements. Adhere to Education Services Delivery methods, processes, procedures, and policies in the development and delivery of education services. Qualifications/Skills: Candidates for the Education Consultant role should have many of the following qualifications: Minimum 3 years in cloud-based software or related professional experience 2+ years of experience in a functional training or consultative role with emphasis on technology and business process training development, design, and delivery Strong presentation, training, and group facilitation skills; familiar and competent with audience-engagement methods and techniques appropriate for all types of audiences Resourceful, motivated, and competitive with a 'roll-up-the-sleeves' and 'get the job done' attitude Understanding of common industry standards as related to ERP along with standard business practices as related to Accounting (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets), Inventory Management (Purchasing, Fulfillment, Warehouse Management) and/or Software/Services management functions (Revenue Recognition, Project Management, CRM) Ability to listen and advise the customer on pertinent solutions to drive adoption of existing products and expansion into new products Excellent time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple demands and reprioritize as customer timelines shift Highly adaptable and open to change to best serve customer's needs Excellent written and verbal English skills that can be applied to documentation development, curriculum review, delivery, and communication Initiative, creativity, and a passion for delivering results that make a difference Thrive on working in a fast-paced environment Effective when working independently and in team environments Receptive to feedback Travel: The position may deliver on-site training upon request, up to 15%. Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only Canada: Hiring Range from $58,100 to $126,000 CAD per annum US: Hiring Range: from $25.87 to $67.93 per hour; from $53,800 to $141,300 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
