Please review below to see if this might be the right opportunity for you: PERKS AT WORK Great team culture that works together to get the job doneEligible for benefits in 30 days or less, including 401(k) with company match, tuition reimbursement, and parental leave Paid Time Off - starting at a max of 21 days per yearEmployee Discounts - computers, vehicles, amusement park tickets, gym memberships, and moreABOUT THE JOBIn Greenville, we specialize in the final step of hydraulic hose and tube production: coupled assembly.Our process starts with a partially-finished hose that are produced at other Gates plants, where we then cut them to size and attach the metal coupling.A Maintenance Technician will spend most of their day helping to perform and manage all plant maintenance activities: preventative maintenance, breakdowns, equipment installation, and troubleshooting. Job Requirements --> Details: --> ABOUT YOU Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred.Must be knowledgeable of OSHA safety requirements, especially those related to electrical and mechanical operations and components.Ability to handle multiple tasks, have excellent attention to detail, and be willing and able to learn new technologies quickly.Must have a thorough knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, electro-mechanical and other mechanical devices.Understanding of mechanical systems; willingness to work with hand tools.Must be able to read schematics and diagrams. Must be able to perform physical tasks, lifting up to 50 lbs.Must be able to work 40 hours per week, plus overtime when needed, with reliable and consistent attendance.Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards Must have good communication skills, with the ability to carry out written and verbal termediate reading and math are required. Must be comfortable working with computers and have strong measurement skills.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without sponsorship WORK ENVIRONMENT The noise level in the work environment is usually low. Temperatures may vary in accordance with weather conditions and may be extreme.
