PPO Medical, Dental, and Vision plans available as well as a generous PTO policy.Process payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payroll checksWork with third party payroll vendor software and reps as neededAbility to communicate and work within a team settingProcess all payroll-related paperwork (new hires, terminations, personnel changes, direct deposit, etc.)Prepare and distribute payroll related reportsAssist in and troubleshoot team member payroll questionsResearch any payroll related questions in a timely mannerMaintain strict confidentiality pertaining to all payroll informationPrepare monthly payroll journal entries for general ledger reportingReview and maintain various payroll items by state to include sick time/paid time off leave rules, overtime regulations & local taxesFollow up with payroll tax inquiries and enrollments as neededNew provider education and training with ExpensewireAssist with monthly close-accruals & balance sheet analysisPrepare use tax work papersOther duties and tasks may be assigned as appropriate or necessaryHigh level of honesty, integrity and ability to handle confidential informationComputer knowledge including Word, Excel and data-entry experiencePaychex payroll experience a plusGeneral ledger experience strongly preferredAccuracy in work and detail-orientedWell-organized with ability to adhere to deadlinesExcellent communication including verbal, written and listening skillsBasic math skills, as they relate to payroll and paid time offPositive attitude and willingness to assist team membersA high school education and a minimum of five years experience with payroll processing strongly preferred.
