Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Finance ERP System AnalystPosition Status: Full-time, Day ShiftPosition Location: Position open to Remote work (SWS approved states) and for candidates in the Virginia/North Carolina area.Remote Candidates must have residency in one of the following states: Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington State, West Virginia, WyomingStandard Working Hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM (ET).Position Summary:This position is part of a team that supports the back-end of Workday's Finance modules, so they function properly for the front-end users, our customers.Provides daily customer service by researching and resolving customer questions and requests via emails, tickets, messages, and phone calls.Maintains changes to the Foundation Data Model (or FDM) (formerly Chart of Accounts) including all hierarchies, the Approval Matrix for all cost centers, and Financial Role security changes for users, including condition rules applicable to the FDM and Approval Matrix.Serves as a Workday Report Writing consultant by creating new reports, modifying existing reports, and providing other report writing support to Finance users.Participates in Configuration Change Requests by providing assistance in the different phases: requirements, researching and developing, testing, UAT, and documentation.Participates in evaluating and testing new Workday software releases and features and provides pletes smaller sized projects or components of projects.Collaborates with other finance and non-finance teams on projects that cross workstreams.Learns and shares knowledge by reading team documents and Workday informational resources, Writing/updating/peer-reviewing documentation of team processes, and providing training to Finance team members.Minimum Requirements:2 years experience in a relevant business department (Finance, Accounting, Accounts Payable, etc.) and/or 2 years experience supporting an ERP application or Finance applicationsWorkday Finance Pro Certification preferredQualified candidates should have Workday or other ERP system Finance experience, including:Configuring complex business processesConfiguring complex validation rulesAd Hoc report writing for Finance teamsFinance role security maintenanceFDM (or Chart of Accounts) and hierarchy maintenanceOther areas of experience/responsibility include:Project ManagementProduct SupportCustomer SupportTeamworkCommunicationGeneral understanding of Finance business processesMicrosoft Excel- functions, data analysis, finance report modelingDiversity and Inclusion at SentaraOur vision is that everyone brings the strengths that come with diversity to work with them every day.
