Description We are seeking an Operations Processor to join our team based in Naugatuck, Connecticut. The Operations Processor will be instrumental in handling customer applications and maintaining customer records in an efficient manner. This role also involves monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions when necessary. Responsibilities: Accurately process customer credit applications. Maintain up-to-date and precise customer credit records. Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions based on account status. Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Book loans into the banking platform system and process all essential items required for day-to-day loan processing. Maintain department-specific spreadsheets and reports. Verify and return mortgage requests. Sort, organize, and file documents to maintain accessible information. Maintain an updated understanding of different loan programs and corresponding computer system codes. Establish payment corrections and review billing statements. Operate payments, advances, and payoffs. Enter new loans, loan renewals, extensions, and modifications into the database. Update codes, status dates, and loan information for reporting as needed. Manage reports, monthly payments, and accrual adjustments. Maintain client confidence by keeping mortgage loan information confidential. Requirements Proficiency in data entry with high level of accuracy and attention to detail Demonstrated ability in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Proven track record of prioritizing and managing multiple tasks to ensure deadlines are met Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members High level of organization and ability to manage and maintain accurate records Self-motivated with the ability to work independently when required Proven experience in a similar role would be advantageous but not essential Strong commitment to adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulations.
