Application Support Technician Provide on-site assistance, advice, problem solving, and technical information to customers regarding the use of production software applications Schedule, coordinate, and participate in the production, quality assurance, and delivery of output reports and data Route requests for service or problem resolution to appropriate staff Act as liaison with internal customers regarding the status of their requests Create documentation of processes and procedures to aid customers in successful performance of their duties Primary duties: Acts as a liaison between remote development and on-site customers regarding information systems operations, schedules, problems, timelines, procedures, and requirements Receives requests from customers for service or problems resolution; prioritizes requests and routes to appropriate staff for action; maintains a data base of customer requests and tracks the progress of service and problem resolution; contacts customers to keep them informed of the status of their requests Actively participates in the testing and implementation of new systems and processes Confers with development team regarding program changes and problems Provides in-servicing sessions for users in the operation of computer equipment, system applications, and software products Provides guidance, assistance, and in-service training to users in response to written and verbal questions regarding the proper use and implementation of appropriate procedures and operations necessary to meet user needs Develops, prepares, and updates user manuals, training, and other information resources as needed Maintains and/or prepares records, reports, and logs and counts of documents related to assigned functions Sets up and maintains user system access according to established procedures Notifies appropriate staff of system, programming, and/or production problems impacting on the accuracy or expediency of output data/reports Documents production problems for appropriate action Develops written communication and documentation for users and for internal use Establishes and maintains cordial, cooperative, and supportive relationships with on-site customers Performs related duties as require Requirements: 3 years' experience with Windows OS and related software Knowledge of FileMaker is a plus 3+ years' experience in troubleshooting laser and ink jet printers Flexibility for systems emergencies and projects as needed Flexibility to work hybrid first/second shift hours as needed Strong communication skills- both verbally and in writing Ability to provide basic training to end users on processes and applications Ability to work well unsupervised and meet goals and deadlines in a timely manner Able to multi-task effectively under pressure and balance speed and quality The key to success in this position will consist of using creative problem-solving and strong attention to detail Candidate must have the ability to promote a positive atmosphere throughout the team and organization Education: Associate degree or equivalent work experience Salary Range: $18.80-$21.95 per hour Hours: M-F 8AM-5PM Benefits: Sensaria offers a competitive compensation package, which includes vacation days, sick days, paid holidays, a paid floating holiday of your choice, paid maternity & paternity leave, along with Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, STD, LTD, Optional Life insurance, and opportunities for professional development.
