Job Title: Heavy Equipment Mechanic / Diesel Mechanic Location: Newville, PA Job Type: Full-Time Payrate: $25-$30 We are leading provider of drilling services, committed to delivering high-quality and efficient solutions to our clients. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic and Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic team. Job Description : As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic and Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of drilling equipment. Your expertise will ensure that our machinery operates at peak performance, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance and inspections on heavy equipment and diesel engines. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on well drilling equipment. Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and longevity. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work. Collaborate with the operations team to schedule and prioritize repairs. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Provide technical support and training to junior mechanics as needed. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in diesel mechanics or related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic or diesel mechanic. Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems. Experience with well drilling equipment is highly desirable. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as needed. Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience.
