Variscale Services & Engineering, Inc seeks a Sr. Reliability Lab Engineer in Secaucus, NJ.Duties: Take the lead in interfacing with cross-functional teams to develop system-level architectures and board-level implementations from product early concept through production launch. Review specifications, BOM, design from customers information and produced testing and validation plans. Supervise the deployment of testing and validation plans to techs and engineers. Work with external suppliers to validate test methods on hardware. Analyze the design with simulation tools and make calculations to verify its conformance to the design and testing requirements. Lead and mentor layout, system bring-up, and debug teams working with internal teams and customers/vendors facing. Make decisions and specify production test methods and limits. Drive balance between cost, performance, quality, and schedule and supervise international and domestic engineering teams.Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field plus 2 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer, Test Engineer or a related role.This role requires 2 years of experience in each of the following: Creating specifications and design guides. Analog and digital design. High-speed bus (PCIE) interface design. Debugging high-speed designs and signal integrity issues. Power distribution techniques & x-86 processor system lieu of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field plus 2 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer, Test Engineer or a related role, theemployer will accept a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field and any amount of experience in each of the following: Creating specifications and design guides. Analog and digital design. High-speed bus (PCIE) interface design. Debugging high-speed designs and signal integrity issues. Power distribution techniques & x-86 processor system architecture.Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.40 hours/week, $82,500 - $137,500 per year.
