Central Station Operator - The Sentry Alarms Central Station Operator will respond to Alarms as well as business and residential security systems. The operator will use various communication devises, software, and hardware to successfully provide levels of security and information to customers of Sentry Alarms. The operator will work as a team with fellow Sentry Alarms Employers to educate and assist customers. The operator will be responsible for providing and excellent customer experience and complete understanding of the sequence of events related to the signal being processed on behalf of the customer. Key Duties and Responsibilities Operator and respond to alarm activity. Communicate with customers for alarm response and general information. Provide excellent customer service. Communicate with police and fire departments for proper alarm response. Maintain communication with necessary employees. Author and revise necessary customer and account information. Schedule service calls when appropriate. General Office work, Including filing. Other duties as assigned. Skills & Qualifications - Ability to maintain project a calm attitude in alarm situations. Ability to follow alarm signals to resolution. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays. Ability to work as a team with diverse individuals. Ability to use various software programs, including but not limited to email, spreadsheets, word processing. Ability to be trained. Ability to use various electronic devises, including but not limited to tablets, smartphones, laptops. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Job Requirements - Ability to work overtime when necessary Ability to be on call. Neat and Professional.
