Administrative Services Clerk JOB SUMMARY: The ideal Administrative Services Clerk will have excellent communication abilities, effective organization, and time management skills. In addition, the Candidate will have a keen attention to detail, great customer service skills, including a personable and positive attitude, ability to work independently with little-to-no supervision, and at the same time, be a team player and assist where-ever needed. As the Administrative Services Clerk you will operate equipment to print/produce company materials for distribution to district offices. Pick up, sort, and deliver incoming and outgoing mail/materials as well as accurately ship and receive courier packages. BENEFITS: Depending on experience, Securitas will offer a starting salary of $18 - $20 per hour, in addition to a full benefits package that includes: Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance 10 accrued vacation days, 4 floating holidays, and 6 sick days 401K ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Print and process company documents including checks and invoices. Collect and distribute mail, courier packages, and other materials. Support on-cycle processing of Payroll and Accounts Receivable, as schedule. Follow all quality control procedures so that the documents, packages, and materials being produced or distributed meet company and industry standards. Operate, maintain, and manage various mechanical equipment including high-capacity printers, fold/stuff/insert machines, and postage scales and meters. Assist with special projects throughout the year. Must maintain composure in dealing with executives, clients, prospects, government officials, contractors, and staff, in group or one-on-one settings, occasionally under conditions of urgency, and in situations requiring high performance and results. Must competently handle sensitive and confidential information. Must be comfortable with a moderate level of computer usage. Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, any of which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines. Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 20 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving of 50 pounds or more. Work with vendors and departments to support various facility tasks. Assist in the ordering and receiving of record boxes as requested. Lift and distribute boxes that need to be stored or retrieved. Support the receiving, inventorying, packing, and shipping of company goods, supplies, or materials as directed. Dispense supplies in designated areas as directed. Pickup and/or deliver mail or packages to the US Post Office or alternate courier pickup location. Backup and assist Facilities as needed. Complete other tasks as assigned. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: H.S. Diploma/GED and ability to read, write, and communicate effectively, is required. Experience working in a mailroom environment is preferred. Experience working in an administrative or customer service role is favorable. COMPETENCIES: General knowledge in Microsoft Office Programs including, but not limited to: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook. Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record for the last 3 years. Operational knowledge of basic office equipment including telephones, postal machines, printers, and copiers. Familiarity with standard office procedures and practices. Mechanically inclined - must be able to work with electronic and mechanical equipment comfortably. Must be able to perform repetitive tasks, without sacrificing accuracy (attention to detail) Ability to carry out multiple assignments concurrently. Must be able to demonstrate that you are responsible, dependable, and reliable. Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures. Ability to be an effective team member and handle project assignments responsibly. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form. A willingness to learn is essential as the position adapts to changes in the organization.
