9220BR Position Title: Program Manager Organization: GCCIS - Department of Cybersecurity Job Responsibilities: This position is grant funded and has secure funding from the NSF through May 2029, with an expectation of continued renewal. The Program Manager, with much autonomy and self-guidance, has a broad set of responsibilities and must be highly proactive, organized, and strategic. They are responsible for all compliance aspects associated with grants. They process and reconcile all expenses associated with grants, so they need to know the benefits and limitations of scholarships. The Program Manager also conducts outreach, including collaboration with other universities, especially other SFS and CAE (National Center of Academic Excellence) institutions. They also play a key role in RIT's relationships with government hiring agencies, to help facilitate internship and post-graduation placements; this includes attending an annual job fair in Washington, D.C. Additionally, the Program Manager helps to support student recruitment efforts through marketing and communication. They are also responsible for forecasting, and tracking student progress, attending weekly SFS and PI meetings, gathering updated plans of study, and identifying shifts that will impact the budget. A small portion of the Program Manager's time will be spent supporting the Cybersecurity department with prospective faculty outreach and department events.
