Job Duties: Develop new accounts and expand Orica's relationship with new and existing customers within the United States. The focused sales areas for this position are Texas and Louisiana. The position provides account management facilitates ongoing service, and helps customers solve any technical problems to comply with Orica's policies and procedures. Specifically, the Sales Representative position is responsible for: Expanding key accounts and developing new business in the sales area, with focus on service-oriented business mining, quarries, underground, and overall business in pipeline and seismic. Working with Orica's diverse mining, quarry, and construction customer bases to facilitate the sale of appropriate Orica's proprietary blasting products, services, and techniques, and meet the customer needs. Preparing sales development plans and budgets. Monitoring and reporting sales results on a monthly basis. Supporting contract management including pricing, rise & fall management, customer meetings, and contract renewal. Developing commercial strategy to create maximum value for customer and Orica through implementation of product and service initiatives. Using industry, technical and operational knowledge to lead identification, development and implementation of new systems/service offerings to deliver additional customer values. Working closely with customers to develop accurate customer demand forecasting. This position reports to Orica's US headquarters in Centennial, CO but may work remotely from anywhere in the continental U.S., must be able to travel up to 60% in the U.S. which must include Texas and Louisiana. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or related field. 10 years of experience in sales, business operations, and/or engineering in mining or blasting industry. 2 years of experience in handling large scale deals over $ 1 million dollars. 5 years of experience in a sales role in developing new sales with focus on mining, quarries, underground, pipeline, and/or construction industries. 3 years of experience in developing and managing sales plans and budgets. 3 years of experience in managing sales agreements and contracts which must include bid tender preparation, negotiation, and contract finalization. 3 years of experience in communicating with customers and developing accurate forecasts of customer demands. 3 years of experience in working with credit and collection departments in debt collection compliance. Ability to travel up to 60% in continental U.S. which must include Texas and Louisiana.
