Warehouse Workers Needed-Job Description: Performs basic manufacturing operations in which tasks are well established. Follows detailed and clearly defined procedures.Location: Binghamton, NY 13901Expected hours: 40 per weekPay: $16-$18hr (depending on Manufacturing experience). 10% pay differential for 2nd shift.Flexible Shifts: 4:00a - 10:00p - Monday through Friday (8hr and 10hr four days a week.) Start date: Immediate StartSchedule: 40-hour work week between Monday through Friday 4 am to 10 pm; 8 hours per day 5 days per week or 10 hours per day 4 days per week; flexible work schedule. 2nd shift is available (10% added to base pay if interested in 2nd shift position)Training: will be conducted during 1st shift; 4-5 hours classroom training and then the rest on the job training for 2-6 weeks based on task and observation & absorption of material.Knowledge/Skills:Ability to follow written manufacturing instructions and general specificationsComputer skills and use of computer programsAbility to use a rulerAbility to work with teammates and be a team playerAbility to follow directionsAbility to solder or be willing to learn to solderAbility to work with their hands and stand for extended periods of timeAbility to use different programs for setupsAbility to understand different types of measurementsAbility to follow proper safety precautionsAbility to read and follow a processAbility to understand the blueprintAbility to take direction and work with leadership wellAbility to understand the process flowUnderstand and effectively utilize desktop applications and manufacturing systems as requiredEducation/Experience:High school or equivalent preferredBasic reading, writing, and math skillsCommunicate effectively, both verbally and in writingDuties/Responsibilities: (Position Specific):Operate and certify on at least two non-complex operations/processesPerforms operations as defined by specificationsAchieve productivity standardsAchieve quality targetsIs accountable for individual resultsAdheres to established safety practices, environmental management and quality systems requirementsPhysical/Environmental Requirements:Requires visual acuity (visual ability to resolve fine detail) and manual dexterity (fine hand and finger movements)Requires limited supervision for routine processes, can implement changes with detailed instructionMust be available for overtime workMust be able to stand for periods of up to 4 hoursMust be able to lift at least 10lbs frequently; up to 35lbs occasionally, and heavier weights with assistanceMust be able to wear required safety protective equipment including but not limited to safety shoes and glassesMust be able to work with or around chemicalsBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insuranceExperience:Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)Warehouse: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: In person Minimum Salary: 16 Maximum Salary: 18 Salary Unit: Hourly
