Do you enjoy working with children? The Hudson Valley Cerebral Palsy Association's Early Childhood Center, located in Brewster, NY, has openings for dedicated and reliable per diem teacher aides. Hours are from 8:15 to approximately 2:30, making it a great opportunity to work around your children's school schedule. Tuition reduction for your child (baby, toddler and preschool services). This position is eligible for overtime. In accordance with this policy, all employment decisions are based on objective, job-related criteria.All employees are expected to support and comply with HVCPA's commitment to equal opportunity employment.Responsibilities will include:Assisting the teacher with instructional services:Helping the student(s) with the functions of daily living;Maintaining a neat and orderly appearance of the classroom;Working with the students individually, in small or large groups, towards the mastery of their IEP/IFSP goals;Assisting the teacher with his/her clerical/administrative dutiesPhysical Requirements:This position requires sitting for prolonged periods of time and bending.
