This job was posted by : For more information, please see: The Carpenter Helper is primarily responsible for assisting the Carpenter in the building of structures, according to blueprints and building specifications. Primary tasks, duties, and responsibilities: Assist carpenters in constructing, erecting, installing and repairing structures via use of hand and power tools. Establish reference points and assist in the layout of building lines. Set doors, windows and frames including installation of hardware. Build scaffolding, shoring, and braces. Install finish work including trim and cabinets. Smooth and sand surfaces using power sanders. Lift, carry and hold building materials, tools, and supplies. Assist in maintaining and servicing tools, machines and general project inventory. Unload and inventory materials from deliveries. Maintain job site cleanliness and safety. Other tasks as assigned by the Project Manager. Employer may recruit for multiple positions from this listing.
