Drive the valuation strategy and process across a global portfolio of 140+ companies. Compile, review and analyze information/financial data and perform comprehensive valuation modeling. Evaluate and analyze portfolio valuation and performance results, including by forecasting business financials and preparing key financial performance metrics, comprehensive analytics reports, and ad-hoc planning deliverables. Set independent pricing and fair value adjustment policies. Highlight concentrations in risk or uncertainties in parameter inputs and assess implications from a risk/return perspective. Anticipate issues within the existing portfolio and future investments. Drive efficiencies by assessing potential technology solutions and process redesign where appropriate to improve valuations process.Requirements:Master's degree in Business Administration (with Finance or Accounting concentration) or Finance, plus three years of experience in the position offered or in the position of Vice President or Senior Vice President at a global private equity/alternative investment firmORBachelor's degree in Business Administration (with Finance or Accounting concentration) or Finance, plus five years of progressive post-Bachelor's experience in the position offered or in the position of Vice President or Senior Vice President at a global private equity/alternative investment firm All required experience must have included developing fair value estimates and performing quarterly valuations for a portfolio of debt and equity investments; constructing financial models using Discounted Cash Flows, Comparable Company analysis, and Comparable Transactions method; marking and maintaining a valuation database; performing valuation analysis in accordance with FASB Accounting Standard Codification 820, including Level 3 assets; performing Calibration analysis in accordance with the AICPA Accounting and Valuation Guide; preparing multiple-scenario exit plans to evaluate profitability and investment MOIC/IRR for portfolio companies; and using sensitivity analysis, profitability and growth analysis, and trend analysis to identify and resolve potential valuation discrepancies.This role entails hybrid work, with time split between working in our New York City office and flexibility to telecommute from another U.S. location.
