Responsibilities: -Manage the Global Qorvo spend on category specific foundry and achieve annual cost reduction goals. -Maintain working knowledge of current and developing technologies. -Collaborate with technical stakeholders to qualify alternative sources for assurance of supply. -Measure supplier performance, conduct supplier business reviews and implement improvements. -Measure spending and savings, set reduction goals and manage projects to achieve success. -Maintain Category Strategy and present Category report-outs to leadership. -Maintain Business Acumen to stay ahead of the industry curve. Qualifications: -Bachelors Degree required in Supply Chain or Electrical Engineering -8+ years of experience as a category manager (supply chain, sourcing, project management or equivalent experience) -Knowledge about semiconductor foundry and fab materials and silicon supply chain. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to clarify complex situations and gather consensus with internal and external audiences. -Multitasking: the ability to manage numerous activities simultaneously and reprioritize in a fast paced, dynamic environment. -Background in (or work closely with) wafer manufacturing and Process Engineering. -Experience with SAP (Material Management module, PO, Material Master, etc.) and supplier contract administrator -Self-Managed/Motivated: the ability to independently set priorities, meet commitments and the desire to seek valuable improvements. -Prefer Lean working knowledge supported with certification Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $118,200 - $153,700 (subject to change dependent on physical location) Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Qorvo reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as external competitiveness and internal comparability.
