Assembly Technician

This job was posted by : For more information, please see: PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Install electrical wiring and assembles components in sterilizer equipment according to blue prints Assemble plumbing onto units Cut, strip, bends, and form wire cable assemblies Drill, tap, and cut tubing and piping Connect color coded and numbered wire Solder and crimp connections Test and adjust assemblies Follow all requirements of the PRIMUS Quality Manual Responsible for following PRIMUS safety requirements Discuss errors in diagrams or production orders with supervisor or engineer to eliminate assembly problems Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy via the Kanban system Facility housekeeping (5S) ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Dress code is casual (T-shirt and jeans. No sweats) Safety glasses and shoes are mandatory Hair neatly groomed and trimmed Maintain a positive attitude, and ability to work agreeably with customers, co-workers, and supervisor Willingness to help discover and implement ideas to improve work processes and assembly technician performance Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out work instructions Understand and implement PRIMUS policies and procedures
