We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our accounting team. As a Financial Analyst, you will report to the Senior Accounting Manager and will assist with monthly financial close preparation, internal analysis, and budget to actual reporting. You will be responsible for timely preparation and entry of monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be a strong self-starter, with excellent multi-tasking and analytical skills, but will benefit from strong and dedicated peers in a cooperative and team-oriented environment. This position offers the flexibility to be fully remote (based in EDT/EST zone). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Maintain overall accuracy and integrity of the general ledger, and ensure that financial statements are in accordance with GAAP Prepare journal entries, account analysis, balance sheet reconciliations and month-end closing activities for several companies on a tight deadline. Prepare monthly analysis reporting for management and the tax team Participate in company continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and correcting inefficiencies, control weaknesses. Support team projects, including the ERP migration from AX 2012 to D365 Assist with the budget / forecast process Assist external auditors in the performance of the year-end financial audit Other duties and projects as assigned. Education & Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of relevant progressive accounting experience Strong US GAAP knowledge, particularly accrual concepts and revenue recognition, Experience with foreign entities, intercompany transactions or consolidated financial reporting strongly preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Detail-oriented with proven analytical and organizational skills Demonstrated ability to work overtime on competing priorities on a tight deadline, especially during month-end book closure week(s). Team player with ability to effectively and efficiently work cross-functionally Growth mindset, Learning agility and Process-driven Ability to work independently on associated projects and reporting with limited supervision Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills Advanced Microsoft Office skills required, especially Excel Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX or D365 a plus SaaS and software industry experience a plus The salary range for remote US-based applicants for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications, prior experience as well as geographic location. $70,000 - $87,000 base salary, plus bonus potential.
