In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of our marketing strategy to support our planned product launch in Type 1 Diabetes - which will be an exciting and significant value driver for the organization, while also demonstrating our corporate values of Integrity, Innovation, Respect, Transparency, and Ownership. Job Summary:The Associate Director, Type 1 Diabetes Marketing will be a key member of the brand team and will be responsible for the development and execution of strategies and tactics to ensure the brand's success. This position is responsible for establishing tactics for HCP marketing activities and consumer promotions in line with the brand strategy. The position will work with internal partners across Operations, Value & Access, Sales, Medical, and Finance, as well as with third-party agencies to deliver on the brand strategic objectives. This position will report to the Sr. Director/Director, T1D Marketing. This position will be based out of our Bridgewater, NJ location with partial remote work opportunities. Key Responsibilities:In collaboration with the other Marketing Team members, develop and implement the strategy for the brand's personal and non-personal promotion efforts with HCPs.Identify effective messages to communicate the brand's core value story; optimize delivery to customers through both traditional and innovative channels.Collaborate with the Insights & Analytics team to ensure strategies and tactics are aligned to customer insights and optimized based on performance.Partner with Sales & Training to ensure brand strategy and tactics are pulled through, including via regional and national sales meetings.Establish strong relationships and develop collaborative areas of shared interest with key stakeholders, including HCP experts and professional societies.Be a product champion and maintain knowledge of therapy areas.Collaborate with other functional areas to ensure promotional planning is consistent with legal/regulatory compliance. Minimum Qualifications:BA/BS in business, marketing or the sciences required.8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industries.6+ years of Pharmaceutical Marketing and Promotions experience.Strong track record of delivering impactful marketing strategies and plans, including positioning, message development, and tailoring/targeting materials for different platforms and audiences. Experience managing creative and media agencies.Experience within early brand lifecycle.Ability to follow processes and work with regulatory, legal and compliance departments.Proven track record of consistent achievement or overachievement delivering strategic and operational plans within a therapeutic or business area.Strong financial acumen with the ability to assess and drive results, budget management.Demonstrated ability to thrive in a quickly changing environment.Ability to effectively communicate brand strategy to key stakeholders.Strong presentation and negotiation skills.Proven team player with ability to collaborate across functional areas and to work effectively with senior management, internal and external partners. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and respond flexibly to shifting priorities.Preferred QualificationsBachelors degree is required.
