Quality Technician

This job was posted by : For more information, please see: Quality Technician Our client is now hiring a Quality Technician on a full-time, interim basis Youll join the team at the companys White River Junction, VT facility for approximately four months. Responsibilities of the Quality Technician Perform precise measurements using a variety of hand gages, including drop gages, micrometers, calipers, and other specialized tools Inspect incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods to ensure compliance with established standards and customer requirements Record measurement data and complete quality documentation Identify and report any non-conformances, deviations, or defects Collaborate with the quality team and production to address and resolve quality issues Maintain and calibrate measurement tools and equipment as needed Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment Qualifications of the Quality Technician High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred Proven experience as a Quality Technician, Inspector, or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment Proficiency in using precision measurement tools Strong attention to detail Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications Familiarity with quality standards (e.g., ISO, AS9100) and experience in filling out quality documentation Team player with good communication skills Basic computer skills The Quality Technician works Monday through Friday from 7:00am-4:00pm.
