Role Overview Were looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to join our Accounting Team who is proactive, self-directed with strong organizational and communication skills and demonstrated ability to work in a high-growth global environment that spans across various systems and processes. Youll work cross-functionally and collaborate with key business partners to support existing and new business initiatives, while ensuring that processes adhere to GAAP and internal controls youll have a part in developing. 100% Remote position - requires ability to work independently and within a team. Occasional travel may be required. Must be flexible in adapting to a non-routine and fast paced environment. The Salary Range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000. Responsibilities Participate in the month and year-end close process by preparing journal entries in accordance with US GAAP, account reconciliations, and variance analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts Responsible for lease accounting under ASC 842 including recording and reconciling sub-lease rental income Responsible for the recording, tracking, and reconciliation of rebates from vendors Responsible for the accounting of fixed and intangible assets and related depreciation expense Ensure all interbank cash transfers and other bank transactions are recorded monthly Review and upload foreign subsidiary financial statements monthly into ERP system Work with multiple domestic and foreign subsidiaries in reconciling and recording monthly intercompany transactions and cross charges Support FP&A team in preparation of financial information for quarterly business reviews Assist in quarterly lender reporting and reconciliations Perform technical accounting research and application as needed Assist in the Companys annual audit and tax return preparation Assist in or manage special ad hoc projects and process improvements Responsible for preparation of various tax and governmental filings Basic Qualifications Bachelors degree in accounting or finance 3+ years of progressive financial accounting experience with strong knowledge of US GAAP Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with all levels of the organization Exceptional organizational and time management skills Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset Possesses advanced Excel skills and strong working experience with ERP and Consolidation/Reporting software Preferred Qualifications CPA preferred, or in process Public accounting experience (Audit) Experience at a multi-national company ERP experience with NetSuite Benefits and Culture Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance - Large carriers on a national level (domestic partner coverage included) 401k with Company Match No vesting period; bi-weekly contributions Flexible PTO - Feel no guilt in taking off a minimum of 3 weeks of real vacation time Paid Parental Leave - 12 weeks for maternity and 6 weeks for paternity, including adoption 11 Paid Company Holidays Hybrid/Virtual Work - Virtual-first workforce with employees in most states
