Bartender, part time

Job Summary: Mixes and serves alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages to Customers of the restaurant. General Accountabilities: Takes drink/food orders from Customers of the bar or wait staff. Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register. Slices fruit for garnishing drinks. Maintaining a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment Replenishes bar snacks. Taking inventory and ordering supplies to ensure bar and tables are well-stocked, requisitions for liquor or beverages. The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time. Requirements Job Qualifications: Education: Valid TiPS certification for the serving of alcohol Experience: A few months to 1 year of experience Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication Problem solving Active listening Adaptability Must be available to work on Sundays Pay rate is $6.75 plus tips (shift differential paid to minimum wage if not met) 12 - 15 hours per week. BAT bus stops directly in front of building.
