Support origination of export finance transactions with U.S. and overseas borrowers. Manage transactions from origination through execution, and liaise with global account officers on marketing plans. Serve as subject matter expert in export and agency finance products and trade finance services (both credit and non-credit), competitor product lines, and commercial compliance regulations for the team. Develop internal relationships in support areas critical to booking global transaction banking (GTB) deals, including legal, risks, liquidity, compliance, and operations. Establish procedures to accommodate new transactions. Maintain reports to track GTB transactions in terms of exposure, revenue and monitoring requirements. Promote and develop working relationship with Corporate Banking team to provide for GTB product support on structured transactions originating from that client base.Requirements:Bachelor's in Economics, Finance or Business Administration, plus 3 years of experience in the position offered or as GTB product specialist at an international bank.All of the required experience must have included: developing financial models and valuation analyses, and conducting due diligence, for GTB transactions using complex research and modeling techniques including return on risk weighted assets analysis, returns on risk adjusted capital analysis, discounted cash flows, Credit Default Swap comparative analysis, Cross Currency Swap pricing, and Interest Rate Swap pricing; determining appropriate risk-adjusted price for financial derivatives transactions; developing and implementing strategies for project finance origination using cash flow models, macroeconomic analysis and financial accounting (GAAP and IFRS); negotiating loan agreements and guarantees based on U.S. and Latin American laws; handling transactions with large U.S. and European corporations and Latin American financial institutions; coordinating between Credit, Compliance, Middle Office and legal teams across the U.S. and Latin America for due diligence, technical, insurance and other aspects of GTB transactions; and using Bloomberg Terminal and Capital IQ.Position requires approximately 25% international travel to meet with clients and facilitate transactions. This role entails hybrid work, with time split between working in our New York City office and flexibility to telecommute from another U.S. location.#LI-DNI Minimum Salary: 185,000 Maximum Salary: 205,000 Salary Unit: Yearly
