JOB REQUIREMENTS: Health Information Specialist - 34550 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Work Schedule : This is a full time, 1.0 FTE position. Shifts will be scheduled Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. This is a hybrid position. Be part of something remarkable Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin We are seeking a Health Information Specialist to: Collaborate with third-party vendors to efficiently request, retrieve, and scan medical records into the electronic medical record system. Respond promptly to telephone, email, and fax requests for medical information to support direct patient care needs. Review and index documents in accordance with established guidelines, ensuring accurate data entry and proper document sorting. Engage in continuous process improvement activities and participate in departmental meetings to enhance team collaboration and workflow efficiency.
