Reference #: QUALI001226 Description JOB SUMMARY This position reporting to the PRI Quality Manager with dotted line accountability to the PRI Certification Senior Program Manager, is responsible to manage and maintain the Certification management systems to comply with oversight body requirements, to maintain accreditation, and to meet business needs. Support PRI quality objectives including participating in internal audits, aligning the Certification Quality Management System (QMS) with the PRI QMS, and assigned adhoc PRI quality projects. Responsible for facilitating and maintaining the elements of the Certification QMS including document control, risk management, change management, Management Review, Internal and Oversight Audits, Corrective Action requests, etc. Demonstrates keen attention to detail, organizational skills, and self-motivation to accomplish tasks. Acts with a sense of urgency to identify and resolve production issues. The Quality Specialist must be impartial, fair, and set the standard for personal ethics, conduct, and openness. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Certification Quality Management System Implement and adhere to external accreditation requirements. Create and revise Certification quality documents and support the document approval process. Facilitate internal audits including: planning; internal auditor selection, capacity, and training; and audit completion. Be knowledgeable of quality system requirements and provide support on quality related inquiries. Facilitate internal corrective action responses. Create and maintain quality metrics and reports. Actively lead continuous improvement activities on Certification business processes. Lead and manage efforts to identify, evaluate, and manage risk for Certification business processes. Support Management Review meetings. Support product changes as necessary. Facilitation of Staff training. Quality Team Support Provide expertise as necessary to support other programs through collaboration with other Quality Team Members. Participate in PRI Quality Team initiatives and work PRI Company Level Quality Participate in the PRI internal audit including planning, conducting, and finding resolution. Contribute to establishing, measuring, and maintaining PRI quality objectives including alignment between PRI and Certification quality management systems. Identify and complete continuous improvement projects for PRI quality. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Technical, Business, English, Communications, or related field. 2-3 years' experience in quality related activities including internal auditing. Demonstrated skills in document editing (content, line, proofreading). Strong communication skills, oral and written, phone and e-mail. Strong computer and data analysis skills and ability to work with relevant computer application programs including learning management and web based collaborative platforms. Ability to think critically (observe, analyze, interpret, reflect, explain), problem solve, and make decisions. Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously and complete tasks/projects on time. Displays original thinking, creativity, and agility; meets challenges with resourcefulness; develops innovative approaches and ideas. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Professional quality related credential e.g., ASQ CQA and ISO 9000 quality system experience. WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to travel when needed (less than 10%) Ability to read/review and comprehend documents. Ability to work for long periods at a computer/desk. Standard office environment.
