We have a number of RN roles open and are excited to discuss your next opportunity with you: RN - ED Swing Shift Nurses The RN renders collaborative nursing care via the Method of Practice, Patient Coordinated Care, to a caseload of patients for an assigned shift in accordance to the healthcare practitioners treatment plan, nursing standards of care/practice and professional code of ethics. The RN is committed to promoting the health potential of the patient (body-mind-spirit) through the implementation of the nursing process. Demonstrates ability to delegate appropriately and direct staff in the coordination and delivery of care; assumes responsibility for the appropriate utilization of care resources; demonstrates positive interpersonal relationships with others in problem resolution, is sensitive to the needs of patients, families, and fellow workers. Reports directly to the Emergency Services Manager. Delegates and directs assigned shift caseload team which may be comprised of RNs and NSSs.The following shifts are available: Part time, 24 hours/week and every 3rd weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)11:00 am-11:30 pm. Full time, 36 hours/week and every 3rd weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) 11:00 am-11:30 pm. The full time position is eligible for a $7,000 hire on bonus. RN - EDNights - House Supervisor The Nursing House/Shift Supervisor is responsible for promoting and maintaining quality patient care through the effective management and delivery of patient care during his/her assigned 12-hour shift. A significant portion of time is spent coordinating resources, problem-solving, supporting and/or providing direct care delivery, evaluating effectiveness of care, and promoting effective communication. Contributes to implementation and enforcement of Nursing, Medical Staff and Administrative policies and procedures, performance plans, and takes appropriate action. The House/Shift supervisor assumes the lead RN role in the absence of the CNO and Nursing Management staff. This position will also rotate into the ED RN role. This is a full time, 36 hrs/week and every 3rd weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun). Hours for this position are 6:30pm - 7:00am. A Sign-On bonus of $7,000 is offered with this position. Staff - RN Surgery The Staff RN - Surgery is responsible for the proper and efficient management of all activities in the surgery department (pre-op, intra-op, and post-op) and care of the surgical patient. Functions as a member of the OR Team, managing the non-sterile field and observes the sterile field during surgical procedures. Scheduling of surgical procedures to ensure smooth, efficient turnover of rooms, and proper use of physician and anesthesia time and safety of patients. This is a 36 hour per week position. There is a $7,000 sign on bonus offered with this position. ED RN The ED RN renders collaborative nursing care via the Method of Practice, Patient Coordinated Care, to a caseload of patients for an assigned shift in accordance to the healthcare practitioners treatment plan, nursing standards of care/practice and professional code of ethics. Must be a Graduate of School of Nursing and have a current Nebraska State RN license. This is a full time, 36 hr per week, day shift 6:30am - 7:00pm, position with every 3rd weekend rotation (Fri/Sat/Sun). A $7,000 sign-on bonus is eligible with this position.
