Maintenance

Responsibilities: Grounds keeping (visually inspect buildings, parking lots, driveways, for maintenance needs, safety, accessibility, and orderliness. Mowing, maintaining power equipment, wash and clean vehicles monthly, use snow blower, using hedge/weed trimmer, riding mower, leaf blower/vacuum.) Candidate may be asked to assist with simple repairs, and to deliver specimens to labs, get gas for mowers, and getting supplies (all from the capital district with supplied truck). Custodial duties include general cleaning duties (restrooms, sweeping, mopping, emptying garbage, recyclables, clean windows, change lightbulbs, change clocks, check and restock paper items and perform other sanitary tasks as needed. Keep workshop clean and orderly, and paint stand-alone items. Candidate may also be asked to assist with mechanical/plumbing/electrical, and carpentry repairs. As always, Green Thumbers doing any task will do so within the Green Thumb written limitations.
