The Department of Transportation (DOT) Human Resource Office is looking for a Human Resource Analyst 2 to assist in the management of employee relations activities for assigned organizations. This position gives you the opportunity to provide consultation on employee relations matters, process grievances, perform investigations for disciplinary actions, conduct Labor Management meetings, and provide training on employee relations issues.Make your career aspirations a reality with the DOT DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Human Resource Analyst 2 in our Field Operations Division, you will provide interpretation and administration of collective bargaining agreements for managers and supervisors. Work includes participating in and coordinating fact-finding investigations as well as investigating and recommending resolution of arrests, charges, and convictions of any employee or prospective employee in accordance with the Governor's Code of Conduct. You will have the opportunity to present cases at Eastern or Western Joint Area and State Committees.This position requires a deep working knowledge of the provisions within collective bargaining agreements and memorandums of understanding. The possibilities are endless with the Office of Administration Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. AWS (alternate work schedule) may be available. Telework:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Clearfield. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Human Resource Analyst 1 or Equal Opportunity Specialist 1 (Commonwealth titles);or Two years of analytical experience that includes one year of professional human resource or equal opportunity experience, and a bachelor's degree;or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
