Description Job Summary: The primary focus of this employee is to support manufacturing through operation of process equipment, movement of compressed gas packages, final packaging, and completion of production / shipping records. Messer stands apart because we put what matters first, and you matter. Principal Responsibilities: Operate forklift, unloading and loading straight trucks and tractor and trailers. Contribute to our industry-leading safety record. Perform various SAP Transactions to maintain a streamlined stock and sales order flow. Perform tasks associated with stock and sales order realization including cylinder dedication, record recording, data management, record handling. Operate paint booth. Ensure all orders are shipped on time and paperwork is accurate. Ensure all original work tickets, folders, and bills of lading are processed each day for manifesting and filing. Keep an ample inventory on all forms, labels, and other supplies as needed. Perform goods receipts in SAP. Notify Shipping Coordinator of any shipment problems. Ensures package, labelling, and markings are in accordance with DOT, IATA, and IMDG regulations. Enter Work Requests into SAP PM for required maintenance. Required Skills: Maintain a clean and well-organized work area. Ability to comply with applicable regulatory requirements. Fit to perform duties where respirators are required. Qualifications: Must become certified against applicable regulatory requirements including: 49CFR, IATA, and IMDG within 90 days of start date. High School Diploma or GED Basic computer skills Ability to perform basic unit conversions. Ability to lift 50 - 70 lbs.
