Application Requirements & Essential Functions for a Retail Sales Associates: Candidates must be fourteen years of age or older Should possess strong interpersonal and/or customer service skills Should demonstrate an ability to work independently and follow instructions Should have basic computer skills, and a working knowledge of windows Should have previous experience dealing with the public in a fast paced environment Retail Sales Associates must demonstrate the ability to remain calm under pressure Should have strong mathematical skills Retail sales associates must demonstrate professional customer assistance through awareness and a friendly courteous approach, with follow through Must demonstrate an aptitude for learning product and store knowledge, using, but not limited to: Vendor clinics, training programs, employee communication and written materials Must demonstrate the ability to research problems and problem solve Must demonstrate correct usage of the telephone, computer, pricing equipment and proper completion of all paperwork Initiative and drive in performance of duties. Showing a willingness to follow directions with a positive manner Maintain the neatness, cleanliness and integrity of all merchandise, and the working environment Retail sales associates demonstrate professional customer assistance through awareness and a friendly courteous approach, with follow through General Summary: Retail Sales Associates assist customers as they shop within a store. Our Retail Sales Associates must greet customers, answer questions related to the merchandise and store policies and locate items. Retail Sales Associates must keep the sales floor tidy and well-stocked. Directly reports to the Assistant Manager with frequent contact and interaction with the Senior Retail Sales Associates . This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Qualified candidates must be available to work schedules as noted below: Footwear (must be available to work two of the below shifts on a consistent basis week to week): Fridays 9am-4pm Fridays 10am-4pm Saturdays 9am-4pm Saturdays 10am-4pm Sundays 9am-4pm Sundays 10am-4pm Mens Clothing (must be available to work both shifts on a consistent basis week to week): Saturdays 9am-5pm Sundays 9am-5pm Ladies Clothing (must be available to work both shifts on a consistent basis week to week): Saturdays 9am-5pm Sundays 9am-5pm
