PER DIEM BARTENDER Proctors Collaborative is the Capital District's leading regional arts organization with performing arts venues in Albany, Schenectady and Saratoga, and education, civic engagement and economic development initiatives throughout the region. We're changing expectations about how the arts serve a community. Proctors is seeking per diem bartending staff for our bars on performance days and evenings and for events. Hours will fluctuate yet be known well in advance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare drink orders accurately, neatly, and promptly Maintain correct drink portions Follow cleaning and sanitation standards Understand the Point-of-Sale system Provide exceptional, friendly customer service to all guests Engage in constructive dialog with management and other bartenders in discussion of best practices in all aspects of the workflow. Provide well thought and reasoned feedback both during and after shifts Ability to accurately follow established Company policies and procedures Dress according to company requirements for the position - Proctors shirt, black pants without holes, tear, stains. POSITIONS QUALIFICATIONS Have TIPS Certification. Training will be provided by Proctors Collaborative as needed Possess knowledge of most mixed drinks, wine varietals and beer Understand alcohol serving guidelines and quality control. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Ability to lift 40 pounds Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Proctors Collaborative is committed to building a workplace that is both creative and progressive.
