Description:Kinsley Power Systems is seeking a Parts Coordinator/Shop Technician to join their growing team The Parts Coordinator/Shop Technician is responsible for receiving, inventorying and distributing parts to customers and employees in a timely manner.Kinsley Power Systems, a family-owned business, has been an industry leader in generator service, sales and rentals for over 55 years. At Kinsley we are dedicated to exceeding our customers' expectations in an environment that is enjoyable and rewarding.If you want to join a growing company with strong family values, a great culture, a company where you are valued for your hard work and have opportunities to grow - then look no further, come join our Kinsley familyParts Coordinator/Shop Technician Responsibilities: Supports technicians in the field with parts look-ups, part compatibility and availability Works with parts suppliers to ensure parts are on hand as needed and in the correct quantity Ensures each technician receives the proper parts to complete successful first-time repair of equipment Maintain a presentation ready shop that is clean and organized Maintains inventory levels to match the requirements of the customer and company and adjusts stock to curtail accumulation of unused or obsolete parts Conduct regular facility audits and take necessary corrective actions to maintain a clean, safe and healthy work environment Processes returns in a timely manner so the company receives full credit from its suppliers Performs warehouse/shop maintenance and cleanliness as well as other areas in the facility as needed Manages supplier relationships and actively seeks new suppliers when appropriate Other duties as assignedPreferred Parts Coordinator/Shop Technician Skills and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent plus two+ years related experience; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis Previous parts/inventory experience a big plus Demonstrated ability to multi-task and maintain organization in a fast paced, changing environment. Mechanical inclination; diesel and gas engines knowledge preferred Solid organizational skills and ability to follow through; uses time efficiently and is detailed-oriented.
