The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to helping students with diverse learning needs achieve their full potential. This role involves developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), collaborating with colleagues and families, and creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Job Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities. Adapt and modify curriculum and instructional materials to meet the needs of students. Provide direct instruction and support to students in various settings, including inclusive classrooms and specialized programs. Collaborate with administrators, support staff, and families to ensure a cohesive approach to student learning. Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed to promote growth and achievement. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and progress. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in special education. Job Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Valid state teaching certification in Special Education. Experience working with students with diverse learning needs. Strong understanding of special education laws and regulations. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
