For information on our international network visit responsible for promoting, leading and monitoring the Quality, Health, Safety and Environment approach in line with the Group's primary value, Safety, and related policies.Main ResponsibilitiesHave a good solid understanding of the basic specifications, principles, and products associated with the construction / aggregate / concrete industry.Recognize actual and potential problems related to quality control spect products for quality, identify and take corrective action as necessary.Keep lab in neat clean and professional order.Keep certifications, and qualifications up to date through seminars, meetings, and tests.Ensure that all quality control activities are conducted in conformance with company policies, regulatory agencies, and acceptable working practices.Implement measures to improve quality control methods, equipment, performance, service, safety and quality of products.Ensure that accurate test results are reported daily, and on time.Review and analyze test results to determine conformity with product specifications as required.SkillsKnowledge of concrete and aggregate quality control datapreferred.Experience with various concrete and aggregate labequipment.Ability to work with large volumes of numericaldata.Strong attention to detailProficient with Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to use computers andsoftware.Strong problem-solvingskills.Ability to work with minimalsupervision.Proven ability to work with others as ateam.Responsible, reliable, and dependableRequirementsAble to lift or move up to 50 poundsAble to stand, walk, sit, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch andcrawl.Able to work in wet and/or dry conditions and extreme heat andcold.Obtain the necessary NYS Technician CertificationsCompensation$21.00 - $24.00 per hour (dependent upon experience &NYS certifications for asphalt andcement QA/QC currently held).Benefits:our company is not only a phenomenal place to work, but we also have outstanding benefits, such as: comprehensive health, dental, vision, 401k match, life insurance, AD&D, Teladoc, health advocate and many moreColas Inc. and its subsidiaries are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
