Resident Support Officer BINGHAMTON, NY ( Job Type Part-time Description Do you want to help change lives? Do you enjoy helping others? The YMCA is looking for substitute Resident Support Officers. At the YMCA you are given an opportunity to create change in people's lives. As a Resident Support Officer you will work in our Housing Department to ensure the safety and happiness of our residents. Some of the job duties of this position include, but are not limited to: Practice excellent communication skills with our residents Communicate regularly with our Case Manager regarding residents' progress towards their goals Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Complete daily reports Ensure the site is secure during the entirety of the shift Implement a clean and sober living environment for residents Mediate various situations between residents Salary: $15.00 per hour Schedule: Varied Benefits: Free YMCA membership Paid sick time My Better Benefits Employee Discount Program Employee Assistance Program Requirements Dedicated to helping others High School Diploma or equivalent Candidates must be at least 18 years of age Experience working with individuals with mental and physical health diagnoses or substance abuse preferred but not required General knowledge in Microsoft Office
