The primary role will be to assist the commercial lending team through all stages of the credit application, due diligence, documentation, closing, onboarding, and post-closing process, including annual monitoring activities. Essential Duties Document preparation and quality control Work with documentation vendor and loan origination system to maintain and enhance processes Order & process third party reports including flood & UCC searches, title policies, appraisals, environmental and other miscellaneous reports Process business loan service requests which may include loan payments, account research, document requests, and updating records Investigate and resolve member issues regarding misapplied or incorrect payments, late fees, and other account maintenance items Job Title: Commercial Documentation Specialist Department: Commercial Lending Reports to: Sr. Commercial Underwriter Location: Waterford Operations Center Assist in monitoring loan portfolio reports for delinquent accounts, maturing loans, financial statement tracking, collateral exceptions and pipeline management Maintains and organizes department files and documents Other duties may be assigned Education/Experience High School graduate or equivalent 3+ Years of commercial documentation experience or legal experience Familiarity with commercial lending products and services Previous Credit Union or other Financial Services experience preferred Skills/Abilities nCino/Salesforce loan processing experience and TruStage formally known as Compliance Systems Documentation knowledge. Organization - responsible for managing a variety of tasks and maintaining records of customer information. Customer Service - communicate effectively with Members by answering questions, resolving issues, and providing additional information. Problem Solving - identifying and finding solutions to challenges that arise throughout all aspects of the job Strong time management skills Highly organized and detail oriented Excellent communication and negotiation skills Ability to work independently and with a team Physical Requirements These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
