The Northeast Nurse Family Partnership (NFP) program provides parenting education and support, case management and resources through home visitation for first time mothers and their families in the Northeastern counties of:Logan, Morgan, Phillips, Sedgwick, Washington and Yuma. Nurse visitors conduct in-home and virtual visits from the early prenatal period through the child's second birthday. The person filling this position would work out of either the Ft. Morgan or Sterling office. Job Qualifications: Applicants must be registered nurses, have a current Colorado nursing license and CPR certification. BSN preferred or willingness to obtain BSN. Two years experience in maternal/child health, public health, home visiting or mental/behavioral nursing preferred. Up to date with all immunizations. Be willing to travel with a valid driver's license and insured transportation. Skills: Strong maternal-child health nursing skills Knowledge of child development Able to provide a nurturing role model and understand maternal issues Basic knowledge of community resources Must support child immunizations, nonsmoking and elimination of secondhand smoke policies Wage: $32 - $38 per hour based on education and experience Hours: One half time to three quarters time, total of .5-.75 FTE (20-30 hours a week) Benefits: 12 paid holidays, PTO, Life Insurance, Health insurance offered for .75 FTE+, FAMLI, Colorado Secure Savings Area Covered: Logan and Morgan Counties More information can be found at
