Thats how well build our future.About the RoleThe MRO Project Specialist is responsible for executing various client projects, and providing operations support. They are the onsite partner for customers in setup, process development and projects. Every day work includes housekeeping, storeroom setup, information gathering, managing project plans, updating customer contacts, data analysis, relaying information to key subject matter experts, coordinating work with team members, and providing feedback for process improvement. Position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong time management and organizational and project management skills and refined attention to detail. The MRO Project Specialist must also be an exceptional problem solver, independent worker and must have strong follow-through.What Youll Do:Follow and enforce all site Safety and Security Procedures while documenting and reporting as required; ensure all staff receive initial and ongoing required safety training; file any safety incidents according to safety SOPs. Ensure compliance with ISO requirements.Serve as the onsite Turtle & Hughes point of contact for project management including, but not limited to, the client corporate champion, each client site champion and other key client personnel.Effectively communicate to Turtle and Hughes and Client contacts on project status updates.Manage and execute the onsite tasks required for each specific projectProvide training to Site personnel in all aspects of their positions. Responsible for developing unity, morale and welfare at all levels of subordinate positions and working towards their professional development.Adherence to individual project budgetsAbility to work independentlyBuild the correct process flows, streamline procedures and providing data enhancements.Develop, implement and execute onsite strategic sourcing initiatives, reverse engineering, MWBE spend initiatives, and green sustainability programs to optimize savings and achieve spending targets.Generate purchase orders in Turtle & Hughes operating system or client CMMS purchasing systems.Analyze information, reports, etc. to determine trends, issues and makes recommendation.Work with Site Manager to streamline processes and implement quality improvements, documenting any changes into the Turtle & Hughes operating system and the site SOP.May be responsible for purchasing at off-site procurement only sites.Manage and instruct local temporary labor to complete tasksAbility to travel 75-90% (local, national, and international) for required to visit sites, and work with direct reports as well as clients.Ability to work weekends if required.What Youll BringTwo-year college degree required; or 3 years experience in lieu of a degree is required. Experienced in client relationship management dealing with senior level customers3 years experienced in building relationships, leading and working in Supply Chain, Procurement or similar industry2 years supervisory and managing direct reports.Thorough knowledge of purchasing and inventory management including experience using ERP systems and working with interfaces.Familiarity in identification of MRO materials including, but not limited to the following commodities (HVAC, Power Transmission, Electrical, PVF, Industrial)Excellent interpersonal skills, writing ability, and presentation and verbal skills, with prior experience presenting in group settings and to senior management.Experience and familiarity with inventory control, receiving, and shipping processesExperience in financial reporting, budgeting and/or overseeing multiple P&L statementsStrong data analysis and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPointStrong skills in Excel / PowerPoint / Visio / Word; ability to learn and work with MS Project.What We Offer:We offer a competitive benefits package.
